Fantastical Boxes of History

If you are as lucky as our family is, you may have inherited family heirlooms and treasures. These family treasures have more meaning and feelings than other collectables because they are from your ancestors and these items bring them back to life. Heirlooms do not have to be worth a lot monetarily, they just need to be close to your heart. Maybe you only have one- or two-family heirlooms - display them with pride. We have many items that have been passed down to us. Some pieces are furniture while others are jewelry and bric-à-brac. 

If you have family heirlooms that you have stored away in boxes or in your dresser drawers, why not find a cabinet box and display them on the wall for all to see. This is a great way to introduce your children and grandchildren to their family heritage and past loved ones. Most of the items have a story attached to them. Write down the story and tag the item with the name of the ancestor that owned it. Add to the heirlooms what you are contributing to the collection before you leave your loved ones in this realm.
